Where to Work if You Aspire to Challenge Yourself Outdoors

Landmark Construction Announces Partnership with Alpine Skills International

As a result of a new partnership with Alpine Skills International (ASI), Landmark Construction employees can take classes to fine-tune their mountaineering skills as an employee benefit.

Joe Bittaker, President, Landmark Construction announced the new employee benefit program that enables employees to build their skills and challenge themselves in intense outdoor sports in March 2016. “Alpine Skills International has an exceptional reputation,” said Bittaker. For over 30 years, ASI has blended the best from American outdoor educational values with progressive techniques of climbing and high mountain skiing that are practiced by the most accomplished alpinists throughout the world.

“We’ve had a relationship with this company for over 10 years,” said Bittaker. “When I was a volunteer with Boy Scout Troop 12 of Loomis, we took the boys on rock climbing trips with them. Since then, our team at Landmark Construction has enjoyed other adventures with their expert guides.”

From backcountry skiing and avalanche preparedness to rock climbing and winter mountaineering, Alpine Skills International has over 40 classes for all levels of experience. “To increase our employees’ ability to meet their personal fitness and adventure goals, we felt that API provided the very best in safety, expert guides and preparation,” said Bittaker.

“Our staff loves challenges and especially extreme sports,” said Bittaker. “We want to reward employees for their commitment to meeting customers’ needs with excellent workmanship and collaboration on the jobsite and in the office. Access to professional guides and off-the-beaten path adventures has proven to very motivating to our team. It is just another thing that makes Landmark Construction unlike other contractors. ”
