California Coalition for Adequate School Housing (C.A.S.H.) promotes, develops and supports state and local funding for K-12 construction and members represent over 1500 school districts in California. The 36th Annual Conference on School Facilities was held February 23-26, 2016 in Sacramento.
For many years, Landmark Construction has supported the organization, according to Joe Bittaker, President, Landmark Construction. “We’ve been a multi-year golf tournament and kick-off reception sponsor at the annual C.A.S.H. conference,” said Bittaker.
Additionally, the builder participated in the tradeshow. “It is always pleasure to see clients and architects who we’ve worked with on projects in the past as well as meet others interested in the benefits of collaborative construction methods,” said Bittaker.
The 2016 conference was held at the Sacramento Convention Center and was attended by over 1200 people. Conference presentations included information on trends in classroom design, integrating technology into schools, sustainable building, drought tolerant landscaping, methods of funding construction of K12 facilities as well as many other topics. C.A.S.H. posts many of the presentations from the conference online.
