Landmark Construction, based in Loomis CA, announced that Tracy Asher and Marty Flaherty have joined the company as project managers. Landmark Construction builds and modernizes schools and colleges, and other government facilities such as court houses, waste water treatment plants and transportation centers in Northern California.
As project managers, Asher and Flaherty will be responsible for every aspect of the project from handoff to completion including administering project contracts, proactively communicating with project team, maintaining a safe worksite, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications, and successfully completing the project, explained Joe Bittaker, President, Landmark Construction.
“Tracy and Marty both have a solid foundation of construction management expertise and we are delighted that they have joined the Landmark Construction team,” said Bittaker. “With their backgrounds, they are both experts in working collaboratively with clients, architects, engineers, field personnel and subcontractors to build extraordinary public facilities on time and on budget.”
Tracy Asher of Elverta, CA will be Landmark Construction’s project manager for the Dry Creek Elementary School District Support Services Facilities project in Roseville, CA. The $4 million construction project includes a warehouse, fleet maintenance facilities, IT support and server room, training space and offices for facilities and maintenance staff.
Asher has over 25 years of construction management experience and is LEED certified. His background is in pro-actively managing complex negotiated and hard bid public works projects valued up to $18 Million. Most recently, Asher managed the construction of a new 9,300 sq. ft. gym and multi-use sports field for the Long Beach Unified School District. Prior to joining Landmark Construction, Asher worked for Roebbelen Contracting, Inc. as Project Manager.
Marty Flaherty of El Dorado Hills, CA, has joined Landmark Construction as a project manager and is currently working on pre-construction services and estimating for the Lincoln High School Farm Improvement Project for the Western Placer Unified School District and several other projects.
Flaherty has over 18 years of experience managing multi-million dollar public, private, state and federal projects in 14 states and Canada. He most recently worked as Western U.S. and Canada Division Project Manager for Geo Stabilization International. Flaherty also worked for M. Dematteo, Kiewit, Bechtel Construction, and worked as a Job Order Contractor, representing owners’ facilities management teams. Flaherty earned his B.A. from Merrimack College, in North Andover, MA.
