HVAC Replacement
This project consisted of replacing the roof top HVAC equipment and associated chilled water piping on classroom buildings 200, 300, 400, 900, 1000 and the Library and Administration buildings, structural upgrades, and miscellaneous repairs to interior and exterior finishes to accommodate the new equipment.
Landmark installed the Chilled water piping underground and on the roof during the first summer and fall while the units were being built. Due to long lead times for HVAC equipment, we completed over breaks as much of the work as we could, including duct cleaning and repair to the existing duct work in order to lessen the amount of the summer work. We also reviewed all of the existing support framing for the new units prior to the start of summer, submitting over 15 RFIs addressing conditions that did not match the plans so that when the framers started the HVAC work, they had all of the correct materials needed. Despite long lead times we were able to begin the work without delay and complete the work on time.
